Location list — types, picking priority and labels

The location list shows every storage place in the warehouse. Columns: number, type, rack, available for picking, picking priority, zone, aisles.

Two columns drive the picker's work:

• Available for picking (Yes/No) — whether anything is picked from this location at all. Reserve places usually have "No".
• Picking priority — a number deciding which place the system sends the picker to when an item sits in several. Lower priority = earlier.

Location types are defined in a separate tab next to the list — the demo has a pallet type, for example. The type describes the nature of the place and lets you filter.

With locations selected, three bulk operations are available:

• Print labels — codes to stick on the places so they can be scanned.
• Assign to rack — tidying the structure without opening each location separately.
• Mark for stocktaking — preparing chosen places for counting.
