Automated actions in OmniChannel — triggers and actions
You create OmniChannel rules in OmniChannel → Automated actions.
What you react to:
- offers — publication, ending, a price or stock change;
- replication — an offer replicated, replication cancelled, and a replication job running;
- platform events — a purchase, a bid, and changes on the source offer;
- offer statuses;
- errors — failed replication and failed publication.
What OmniChannel can perform: run a replication or replicate a single offer, publish an offer and update it on the platform, change an offer status, and act on the remaining accounts — ending an offer there, setting or reducing stock, recalculating the price.
Where to start: with a rule based on errors. "Offer replication error" and "Offer publication error" are events nobody wants to miss — base a rule on them that switches the offer to a status of your own that stands out. The problem then reports itself instead of waiting for someone to check the list.
If you have PIM switched on, a trigger for a product being added in PIM appears on the list as well — that is Easyitem Sync.
The current list of triggers and actions is always in the panel.
